HILLCROFT CHILD CARE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TINIES

Tinies Childcare is Ofsted registered and all staff are referenced and CRB checked before being able to work with children, and offers on site childcare to those students that require it. Kids can have fun with indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, games, walks and outings, all in a safe environment.
Tinies work in partnership with Hillcroft and the crèche caters for the younger age group of children aged 3 months to 5 years; we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines and provide activities to help support these children’s development and learning.
Tinies Top Club caters for the older children aged 6 years to 12, and provides them with a secure and happy environment, where they can enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, art and a variety of games. Children can also choose to bring along any games, activities and ideas they wish, they will go on organised walks and outings, and have use of computers and games consoles, so there is plenty on offer.
Hillcroft schedules up to three courses per weekend and places for children at the college are limited and are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Students wishing to bring children with them must apply in advance.
Arrangements are made about staffing levels for courses 10 days in advance of the course start. We must receive information about the ages and numbers of children by this time. If we have not received this information we may not be able to ensure childcare.
Children with special needs
Hillcroft’s aim is to support mothers to access learning opportunities at the college. If a student has a child or children with special needs we may need to organise additional childcare support. In order to ensure that we provide the best possible care, we would ask for as much information as possible about any particular needs 10 days before the start of a course.
