Why are the courses residential?
Residence at the college throughout the course is an important part of the learning experience. The learning environment and facilities are open 24 hours per day and students have a unique opportunity to learn together, support each other and share experiences.
The college has a registered crèche on site and we can provide childcare for a limited number of children up to 14years. Places with local Ofsted registered child-minders (off-site) may be booked for children 3yrs and under and over 12 depending on numbers. If demand for childcare is very high the college may seek to book off-site registered childcare places for children of other ages. Places for children at the college are limited and are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Students wishing to bring children with them must apply in advance. Please ask us about availability. The college can also cover the cost of childcare for children younger than two years and between the ages of six and fourteen provided off-site by registered childminders, registered nurseries or playgroups of your choice.
There is no catch. Hillcroft exists to help women who have not previously had an opportunity to fulfil their potential through education. Email enquiry@hillcroft.ac.uk Tel: 020 8399 2688 www.hillcroft.ac.uk Registered charity 312825
