We can help you choose the right course if you want to return to learning but don’t know where to start.
We can also help you plan your next steps while you are studying at Hillcroft.
We will try our best to meet your individual needs.

We offer the following services:

  • Initial advice about course choices by phone, email or in person
  • Open Days so that you can visit the College and talk to a member of staff about studying at Hillcroft
  • Individual advice and guidance interviews if you need more information and support
  • Starting Points: Assessment & Guidance – a 3 day/2 night course which provides an introduction to residential learning at Hillcroft and also helps you to develop a personal action plan for further study
  • On-going advice and guidance for progression to help you progress with your studies once you’ve started at Hillcroft
  • Help finding a university of further education course to suit you after you finish studying at Hillcroft
  • Information to assist with CV preparation and Job Search
  • Help finding an adult guidance service close to where you live
  • On-course tutorials on most courses to help you keep focused and reflect on your learning
  • Mentoring and coaching is also available on certain courses
