Background:

Victoria left school with great G.C.S.E. passes, but due to financial responsibilities and the need to contribute at home, she took a job as a sales assistant in a shop. The job did not have any prospects and was mentally boring.

Why Hillcroft?

Victoria found out about Hillcroft through a friend who had studied at the College. She thought it was all too good to be true; her own room to study in, 24 hour library and internet access and inspiring teachers. After being impressed at her interview by staff and students, Victoria accepted a place on the Access to Higher Education course. Six months later she is planning to continue her passion of studying Social Sciences at University.
