Vonny

Background:

Vonny left school at 14 with no qualifications to speak of and after a few dead end jobs went on to become a full-time mother. Over the years she knew she had lost confidence in herself, and felt the time had come to do something for herself, to move on and develop skills that were dormant. However she feared she was not organized enough to be able to study.

Vonny says:

"The tutors here are fantastically encouraging; when you are flagging they make you feel that you are worth something. I cried more from happiness here that at any other time. Being here was the best thing that ever happened to me other than having my children. "
