Students
If the idea of returning to education as a mature student is daunting, don’t worry it needn’t be. Whether you come to Hillcroft on a weekend short course or stay and study on a longer full time course, we will help you to adjust and embrace student life. If you are overwhelmed by the transition or have any other concerns then Hillcroft has a network of counselling and support services to help you.
As a residential student you will be well placed to enjoy the benefits of Hillcroft with 24/7 access to the LRC and Computer rooms so if you favour essay writing at 3am – you can! From a social perspective being a resident gives you the opportunity to build strong and lasting friendships with fellow students which in some cases last way beyond the duration of the course. Through Facebook, Twitter and an active Alumane Association, Hillcroft gives you the means to stay in touch with those friends wherever you end up in the future.
Hillcroft encourages all students to join the NUS to enable them to become part of the wider student community and to be able to take advantage of the many fantastic offers available.
